POKOTABI / Taverne de Blue
TAVERNE de BLUE (タベルネ ブルー)
Tucked in an alley just off Hatanodai Station's East Exit, Taverne de Blue offers wine by the glass, comforting Western-style small plates, and signatures like hayashi rice and fluffy omelets in an easygoing setting.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Just inside a quiet alley off the east exit of Hatanodai Station, Taverne de Blue welcomes guests into a cozy wine bar filled with an easygoing warmth. Run single-handedly by the proprietress, the inviting space offers counter and table seating where diners can settle in over thoughtfully prepared yoshoku fare and drinks.
The blackboard and menu feature an appealing selection of small plates tailored to accompany wine or highballs. Guests can begin with casual starters such as a bite-sized serving of prosciutto, an assorted cheese sampler, or fragrant mixed nuts, making it simple to sample diverse flavors even when dining solo. For warm dishes, regulars often turn to the soft and melty cheese omelet or the classic home-style omelet filled with ground meat and onions and topped with ketchup. Piping-hot ajillo loaded with broccoli and sausage, scooped up with baguette, draws out the wine's bouquet even further.
Substantial appetites are well served by rich beef hayashi rice or hearty pasta with meat sauce made using fresh noodles. The drinks list spans red, white, and sparkling wines by the glass alongside beer, whisky, and cocktails, accommodating both casual nightcaps and full dinners. With takeout options and cashless payments including PayPay available, it remains a comfortable spot to drop in whenever the mood strikes.
